Postgraduate studies

Hello bloggers, the topic of today is very difficult, because I don’t have a clear idea about postgraduate’s studies, but I have among my options, to work a little, so I can decide better which area of work is the one I really like. Actually I am interested in the conservation, restoration and ecosystem services. I am interested in conservation and restoration, because in my hometown, we have serious problems with caring for the environment, most of people extract ground of leaves and cut trees, this added to the drought is lethal both for plants and for people.

The ecosystem services also are an option, because I think that through this medium if we come to convince people of the importance of nature and the direct and indirect implications it has on our lives, people could understand. In Chile today these topics are treated by Claudia Cerda, I do not think there are postgraduate courses of ecosystem services in my country, but in Argentina, Colombia and Spain, these courses are imparted. If I choose this option, I will go to one of these countries.

On the other hand, master’s and postgraduate’s titles of Conservation and Restoration are imparted in Universidad de Chile and Universidad Austral de Chile, I don’t know about how expensive are this studies, But, I hope to be able to study some of these things in the future.

My Future Job

Hello bloggers, today I will write about my future job, I would have a job like, medicine, because all my family are connected to this “world”, my father was an ambulance driver, my sister are a nurse and some cousins are nurses, but when I go to the secondary, my tasted changed. My preferences are related to the medicine of prevention, like speech and language pathology, kinesiology, obstetrics and child care, medical technology and occupational therapy. 

When I end the secondary and do the PSU, the decision was very difficult, but I chose speech and language pathology, with a little fortune I entered in the faculty of medicine, Universidad de Chile. This year I resigned the career.

Now my real option is forestry, with this title I can do my dreams, like recognize all the plant species of Chile, be connected to the nature, go to the hidden locations of my country.

The job: I hope to work in many national parks, like “Vicente Pérez Rosales”, “Qeulat, “Las Guaitecas” or “Alacalufes”.

 But first I have to help my natal community, because Til-Til have a serious problem with the care of the nature, the people extract all the ground of leafs, kill the threes to extract firewood and they do not take care of the water. I hope to made solutions for this problematics and with my knowledge of plants reforest the lost forest.

National Parks

This summer I will visit National Park “Nahuelbuta”, I would like to see a incredible tree, it’s name is “Araucaria”, this tree is legendary for their beauty, the pine nut, this seed have eaten for people of thousands years, this is awesome.

National parks are fantastic, beautiful and have a mystic. I love go to them places, because I can see the flora, fauna, incredible landscapes, etc.  I only go to a few of parks, but I enjoy a lot these times. I remember when I went to “Parque Nacional Alerce Andino”; in this place I saw one of the older trees in the world! This experience was fantastic.

The national parks are very important in our society, because in this place we can learn about care of nature, the real important of ecosystems and the responsible of human in the destruction of the nature. If we don’t have national parks, probably this ecosystem doesn’t exist, because the most of people don’t have conscience of their actions. I say to the people: “Your conscience won´t let you sleep, because you know you not are caring the world”. If they respond saying that they are caring the world, I say to them, “You are good people”.

Hello bloggers, I don’t have a real passion for the movies, but I have a pair of favorites movies, like “Scott Pilgrim vs the world”, “Supercool”, “Interstellar”, “Cars”, “Shrek”, It’s kind of a funny story, etc., my favorite actor is Michael Cera, because him characters are so singulars, them personality intrigue me, because I can’t understand such stupidity into one character.

By a large margin my favorite movie is “Interstellar”, because I love the astronomy and the physic phenomenon. Also I love the context of the movie, the imminent destruction of the humanity in the world, because we were not aware with the planet. For this motive the humanity has the necessity of leave the world in the searching a new home. The principal actor of the movie is a father who must leave their children and father to save humanity. The travel begins in the Earth and Finish in other far far away place in the universe, He travel those distance trough a worm hole. Finally this men can watch a black hole from the inside, and trough the gravity he send a message to him daughter Murph, who with these message save the humanity. But the history don’t end here, finally the protagonist go back to him home and see him daughter once more time.

The Best Concert

Hello bloggers, I’m going to write about the best concert that I went; the artist of this concert is “Silvio Rodríguez”, I went to “Movistar Arena” to see him, I was by my girlfriend, but the ticket are so expensive. The experience in this concert was wonderful, I love him songs and enjoy while he plays the guitar. The better of this concert was stay, with the better company.

The atmosphere in the concert was not the best, because the people are so moneyed, but the music made up all ours sacrifices. I remember when we have to went to my house, but in this moment the Metro are not working, therefore we should had to cross the town on bus, before we never to this, and this was a new exciting experience, luckily we arrive at Mapocho, in this place my father are waiting for us, but the problems not end here, because in Til-Til there was a protest for the “Tag”, all roads are closed, for this, we should talk to the people who were in the street to let us get to our house.

A country I would like to visit

A country I would like to visit is Holland, because this nation is considered one of the more ecology’s country in the world, for the most part of the people go in bike, the bicycle is the national transport. I hope that in the future Chile gets to have the same means of transport

In my view the landscapes and cities are so splendid, the lifestyle of the peoples is so good, them really enjoy the life and live relaxed. These people mostly speak excellent English, I would like to speak decent English.

I would like to participate in the “Amsterdam Light Festival”. The house of Ana Frank is a place which is well worth visiting. I would like to spend a day in the gardens of tulips.

When I finish my studies, and I get to travel in my country, I will to live one’s years in Holland working, because the salaries are higher than the salaries in Chile.
